While the term gaslighting has been around since the 1930’s, it wasn’t until the 2016 election that it became prevalent in our vocabulary. Nowadays, we hear it in the news, in music, and on TV. It’s anywhere and everywhere. What does it really mean and why is it important to understand the concept?
